Not Your Average Bikes showcases at Ripley Castle & Wentworth Woodhouse Shows

todayFebruary 5, 2022 2

Background

That’s a great way to peak interest… Not your average bikes… and we’ll be seeing them at a selection of our Yorkshire based shows this season and taking a feature slot in the arena during the show.

The team from ‘Not Your Average Bikes’ are exhibiting at The Yorkshire Classic & Performance Motor Shows in Harrogate (Ripley Castle) in May and August and Wentworth Woodhouse (near Rotherham/Barnsley) in July and have got a great selection of traditional and other bikes to explore.

Not Your Average Bikes (NYA Bikes) is based out of Ossett, West Yorkshire and is a motorcycle showroom and workshop.

They sell new/demo/used electric motorcycles, used petrol motorcycles and race/track motorcycles. Alongside that, they are currently the North of England’s Electric Motorcycle Specialists, and a main dealer for both Zero Motorcycles and Energica, the world’s leading electric bike brands.

They’re bringing passion for custom and unusual petrol motorcycles into the modern era, and combining it with their passion for electric motorcycles.

Going Electric

Electric cars (EV’s) are certainly on the rise with sales growing day by day as the non-petrol versions are phased out by 2030 in a government plan but electric bikes? This may be a new area for some of us and looking at that image above, I’m personally intrigued – I like traditional tourers and this is a good looking bike.

“The company started as a vision of our Managing Director, Jon, who was tired of visiting dealerships where they just wanted your money and you out the door to make way for the next customer. Customer satisfaction and service is our number one priority and has always been, and always will, be the main focus of our business model. We as a team are all just happy to be working doing something we love, and providing our customers, with as much time, attention and knowledge as we would like ourselves when visiting a bike shop. No hard sell. No pushy salesman. Genuine, honest, straight-talking bikers that will treat customers just as we would like to be treated ourselves.

The team will. have a stand with a range of bikes and information to explore at the Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May 37th Yorkshire Classic & Performance Motor Show, Wentworth Woodhouse Classic & Performance Motor Show and the 38th Yorkshire Classic & Performance Motor Shows in 2022.

Test rides can be booked on the bikes via the team at their West Yorkshire office.
