Italian hypercar company Mazzanti Automobili turns to crowdfunding

In what is undoubtedly a turbulent time for the motoring industry, one Italian hypercar builder Mazzanti Automobili, has turned to crowdfunding to help develop the next run of limited edition hypercars.

Like many great entrepreneurs and motoring fanatics, Luca Mazzanti’s road is an interesting read. From a garage workshop and a love of cars in the 70’s and 80’s to the early production in early 2000’s and growing to the production of today.

Having built 15 hypercars to date, their history is an interesting one for such a bespoke and small business.

Launching a car to the growing China market in 2016, the Evantra shown below certainly strikes a presence and would be great to see on the road.

The Investment for Future Hypercars

Currently, the funding target is €800,000 with more than 220 investors already signed up.

That’s already 79% near to target at point of writing. Do you fancy having a peace of your own hypercar company? With options online currently showing from €10, you could just do that!

There are a number of supercar and hypercar companies around. They’re all well deserving and a great pleasure to see new innovation from private individuals. To most of us in business and in life this is proof that it doesn’t always need to be delivered by the big companies. Look at Koenigsegg for example, a great example and one that Luca may well emulate in time.

It is great to see new innovation in motoring and new competition delivering a bespoke experiences and more unique cars.

For me, it has to be done. A modest contribution may not be the big investor, but from a business point of view, that’s the point.

For crowdfunding it needs the crowd and lots of them to support it and why not?!

If you’ve got deeper pockets, a bigger contribution would no doubt be welcome. Maybe you could even order yourself one of the limited edition cars?

For the rest of us, this is a great chance to dine out on owning some shares in an Italian hypercar company. And in doing so, we’re supporting a small business, a motoring one at that, on its journey.

Whilst we may or may not be able to buy one of these now or in the future, the chance to own a small share of one is right here and now.
