todayMarch 18, 2023

Background

With some of the most iconic names in motoring history including Sir Stirling Moss, visitors to two of our shows this season will have the rare opportunity to browse and buy selected images from the Historic Motorsport Archive.

The Chatsworth Classic & Performance Motor Show on 30th July and the Masters of Motoring Supercar and Classic Collectors Motor Show at Bowood House & Gardens on Father’s Day, Sunday 18th July are the two shows and we are looking forward to seeing the canvas’ and images in print.

There will be a TV (with small speakers) showing various 1950 GP’s and their iconic drivers such as Moss, Fangio, Brookes amongst up to 30 canvas’ to browse through. The canvas’ and images have been taken from original and rare footage from the 1950’s grand prix and racing of the ages providing a truly fantastic snapshot of moments in motoring history that are in private ownership.

The image of Stirling Moss was taken at Monaco and some stunning examples are shown below.
